English Harquebusier’s three-bar pot, attributed to Mr Rafe Boulter c1634-1648

This pot helmet is a faithful copy of a very rare English three-bar pot helmet attributed to Mr Rafe Boulter of Oxfordshire. Mr Boulter and his partner Sylvester Keene, worked together supplying arms & armour under contract to The Tower between 1634-1648. This helmet is comprised of a two-piece hand forged folded skull, hinged one piece fall/peak, three-bar face guard, and shaped solid cheek-pieces suspended from buff leather. (24” internal skull circumference).
